Non-Intrusive Plug Valve Sampler

  • The plug is flush with the vessel wall when retracted.
  • Extracts a representative sample from the side of a vessel/dryer.
  • Can sample under vacuum or over-pressure
  • Sample Plug retracts to open a path for the product to flow to the sample bottle.
  • Client agitator can be used to push product to the sample bottle.
  • Can be manually or automatically operated.

Operation

  • The plug, which is flush with the vessel wall, is retracted.
  • Powder flows into the opening and to the bottle.
  • The motion of the agitator is used to push product into the Sampler.
  • When complete the Plug is extedned forward pushing excess product back into the dryer.
  • A nitrogen purge can be used to assist the sample from the sample chamber to the sample bottle.

Intrusive Plug Valve Sampler

  • Intrusive sampler, the plug flush with vessel wall when retracted.
  • Extracts a representative sample from the bottom or side of a vessel/dryer.
  • Can sample under vacuum or over-pressure.
  • Sample is extracted by plug.
  • Can be manually or automatically operated.

Operation

  • The plug, which is flush with the vessel wall, is extended.
  • Powder surrounds the plug.
  • As the plug is retracted, a sample is brought back into the sample chamber where it falls into the sample bottle.
  • A nitrogen purge can be used to assist the sample from the sample chamber to the sample bottle.

  • RATING -1 to 9 bar , 0° C to 100°C
  • Temp rating up to 150DEgC

  • Containment of the sample bottle using a cabinet or glovebox.
  • Sample bottle connection can be machined to suit customer supplied bottle.
